My computer is showing an exclamation point next to it. Shows an unknown device?
No new devices plugged in. Tried to sync iphone (worked previously) it failed(showed as camera in devices does not appear in itunes. Unplugged usb and iphone, restarted computer and now it shows an exclamation point and an unknown device next to pc!
The exclamation point means that the device driver is missing. I found an Apple support article that should put you on the right path.
Remove and reinstall the drivers from device manager…
- What's that exclamation mark in iPhone Photo Library? I turned on the "iCloud Photo Library" thing when I updated the iOS 9.1, but now most of my photos are in low resolution and a exclamation mark appears inside a circle. I've search and its not Wi-Fi problem nor iCloud storage issues… Help!
- Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person? A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?
- Unknown device on my iCloud account? I'm actually so confused right now. This random iPhone 8 plus popped up on my iCloud account. I've asked everyone I know if its theirs so now i just wanna know how to remove it so they can't see my pictures, messages, and stuff.
- Should i buy the iphone 8 plus/X next month or wait for the next release which is in September 2018? I'm thinking of getting a new iphone next month but my dad suggested i wait for the new ones in September, what do you guys think and if you think i should get one of the current iphones which should i get the 8 plus or the X?
