My contract is ending soon and I plan to buy an iPhone 5s but?

There are media rumours that iPhone 6 is coming out very soon. Do I really have to buy the latest model? What if there's an iPhone 5s and there's a big difference between the two models? I can wait but still I would like to have the iPhone (either) soon.

You can buy whichever one you want. If the iPhone 6 comes out, the 5s will drop in price, so that'd be good

Apple hasn't said anything about the 6. If it's like the iPhone 5 to 5S, or the 4S to the 5 then it won't be a huge improvement over the 5S.

I heard someone say that Apple does evolutionary updates rather than revolutionary ones. In other words they improve their stuff in smaller, less wildly different ways. They don't add tons of new features.

So if you want a phone right now then just get a 5S. You probably won't be missing much.

Just get the 5s. An iPhone 5s in the hand is worth ten iPhone 6's in the warehouse.

  • Updated iphone 4 to iOS7 ending phone calls? I can do everything on my phone from receiving messages and sending, but i can't make phone calls. It does not ring it only says "call ended". I can't receive calls either it sends the other person straight to my voicemail. What is going on? Any suggestions?
  • Mobile contract ending soon? Okay so, my friend's contract on o2 ends in 11 days. She had the iPhone 4 and is wondering what happens when this contract is up. Does it just end or are you still charged for your bill? Please, no links and explain it simply. What would she have to do to just end it as she wants a new contract for the iPhone 5 but doesn't want to upgrade.
  • Is it possible to buy an iphone and NOT have to buy the plan? Is this possible and how? I'm trying to convince my parents to buy me an iPhone, but which one do I buy and can it be used without the plan for $40 or $30? All my friends keep saying different things and iim afraid the store will just sell me the expensive one.
  • Is free Wi-Fi calling ending? I'm really confused about Wi-Fi calling apps. I tried reptel the other day, they say they are free but at the last minute they tell you it is only free for other reptel users. Is there any iphone apps that keep Wi-Fi calling truly free? Also is there any windows apps that keep Wi-Fi calling truly free? Meaning I can call anyone at anytime as long as I have Wi-Fi?
