Do not get scared - this works. And I have done it countless times, on phones that needed it. In your phone settings DELETE THE MAIL account that is not working. Shut of the phone - wait - turn on the phone. ADD BACK the mail account you want. This resets the connection. You should be fine. Lots of things benefit from a "cold boot" every so often. Even romantic relationships…

- Why won't my iPhone earbuds work on my iPhone but work fine on a computer? So I have the worst luck with earbuds and it happens to be reoccurring.
