My headphones don't work in my Iphone?
Well I always played my Iphone in the car however one day no headphones I put in work at all. I restored my phone because it was acting up, and still the headphones don't work. It still comes through the speakers.
Has anyone ever had a problem like this?
Any advice or tips?
If you just got a new case take the case off - sometimes the hole in the case is jacked up and won't let your headphones plug in all of the way. It's stupid, but worht the shot!
If you have another pair of headphones to plug in try that, sometimes the wiring just gets separated in teh cord somewhere and that's all it takes.
If it's neither of those your headphone jack on your device is toasted and you'll have to go gete it repaired. Fortunately you can usually go into a little mom and pop cell phone shop (not like an AT&T store but a little repair/accessory shop) and get it fixed for way less than you imagine.
Otherwise you can just get some bluetooth headphones, they're not too pricy and work great! Not a bluetooth earpiece for talking (although mine plays my music in it) but some ear phones that connect via bluetoot. Or you could look into the bluetooth that will play music like mine, I'm using a blueant model now but a lot of them will play music in them, it's just a one ear kind of thing so some folks don't like it at all.
- Why don't my iPhone headphones with mic work with my Mac? When I plug my headphones in, they work fine. The remote works too. I just can't get the mic to work. System Preferences doesn't detect them, and I can't set them up with Audio MIDI Setup. They work perfectly on my iPhone, but not my Mac. I know they work with Mac's, because I have seen people state on the Apple website that they do. I need help! MacBook Pro 13 inch (Early 2011) Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4
- My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
- My iphone 3gs volume don't work they only work when you put earphones in? I recently repaired my 3gs because all the buttons were broken. But they still had worked i just needed buttons on because it was hard to put the volume up or down. So when all the buttons were fixed i can only use the earphones too adjust the volume from the side if i take the earphones off i can't hear my music or game sound… So how do i fix this?
- My Apple headphones won't work on my iPhone and only on my iPhone? I have an iPhone and my apple headphones were working fine for one second but when I unplugged them and plugged them back in it doesn't work and the sound comes out of the speaker. I thought it was the headphones but they work on my computer and anything else. Other head phones work on my iphone, I tried 3 other headphones and they were all fine. It's just my apple head phones that don't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?
