My iMessage on my iOS 4 (updated to 6) isn't working.how do I fix it?

I was messaging and then it stopped working… I thought it was my Wi-Fi so I turned off and on the Wi-Fi, and still didn't work, so I restarted my iPod, signed in again for iMessage, and tried sending a message but it didn't work, and some contacts I have who do have iMessage on their iPhone/iPod it said they weren't connected to iMessage. Any help on how to fix this?

Tech blogs like cnet say that imessage is down on apple's side right now. This means there's nothing you can do but de-activate imessage and send regular texts for now.

Oh yes mines is down too. We at least I know I'm not alone! Yep they said their a outage! So you have to wait.

  • Why isn't my iMessage working Okay so I went away for a few weeks and now that I'm home I want to use iMessage on my phone again (iPhone 3) but it was off so i just thought that it turned off automatically when I went overseas but when I turned it on again it wouldn't work; it just sat there with "waiting for activation… " on the screen and not actually working. So I'm just wondering WHY this is and how I can fix it? Cheers.
  • My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!

  • My iMessage for iOS 7 isn't working anymore but texts are.please? My boyfriend can't receive any of my iMessages and I tried restarting it. It said it was not delivered. Then it all of a sudden changed to text messages. My iMessage is even on. Can someone please help me! Everyone else that has an iphone can get my iMessage but he can't. It's happened to me with other people. I just don't know what I did
