My iPhone 4 Home Button Won't work?

Ok I got this used iPhone 4 and it works then all of a sudden my home button just quits working if I get in a app I'm stuck in it, I can't even press it to turn on I have to use my standby button, after a while it seems to work again, Please help this is driving me CRAZY

This is also a problem for the iPhone 4 in Indonesia.

1. REFRESH SPRINGBOARD

√ Connect the iPhone to the connector.
√ Press and hold your iPhone connector

4. ASSISTIVE TOUCH

  • Why won't my iphone home button work? It was working fine half an hour ago, i put it down to go up stairs, came back down and it had stopped working! Why? i haven't dropped it or done anything to break it.haven't even got water in it. Can you get the button replaced?
