My iphone 4 is not showing how many texts i have?
Like on the texting icon i have 2 texts, but it doesn't show it on there?
for example when you get a missed call it shows on the phone ico the little 1 in red?
it doesn't do that with my texting?
but I get the texts messages
You can change that option by going to
Settings < Notifications < Messages (or whatever texting app you're referring to) and then turn ON the "Badge App Icon"
That should give you the red circle with a number inside of it in the corner of the app when you get a notification. You can also customize other features for how your phone handles notifications in the Notifications settings.

- Why is my Iphone 4 not showing the contact names on my in-coming texts? I'm having this issue with my Iphone 4 after updating. Suddenly my text messages are not displaying the contact name, but rather just the phone number of the person sending the text. It always displayed the senders name prior to updating, and now I can;t get it to return doing so. I've tried rebooting my phone and tried to look up some info on the net, but nothing seems to work to get it back. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, how did you fix the issue.
- Why are my iMessages showing up as texts for certain iPhone users? Okay, so I have an iPhone 4S and earlier today, I tried to text one of my friends earlier who has an iPhone 4S and iMessage wasn't registering when I entered their number, and the texts would only send as text messages. I can send iMessages to all of my other friends who have iPhones without any problems. This friend is the only person it's not working for. I'm not sure what the problem is.
- My sent folder is not showing all the emails I have sent. Why is this happening? This seems to be random, with some showing and others not. Since Thursday, nothing I've sent out is in the sent folder. More worrying, on my iPhone, the entire sent folder has been emptied.
- Is there a way I can see how many texts I sent this month? My friend has an AT&T iPhone 4 and I have a Verizon iPhone 4S. She texted something and AT&T sent her back a text telling her how many texts she had that month. I was wondering if Verizon had something like that where I can text them and see how many texts I have this month.
