My iPhone 4 keeps deleting contacts?

I got a new phone yesterday, so I put all my contacts in from my old Samsung (manually). However… Today my iPhone keeps deleting them and I'm sick of it!
Is there a way I can transfer my contacts from my Samsung onto my iPhone 4? Or is there a way to stop having it delete my contacts every time I put one in?

Added (1). I entered each contact from my old phone manually. I don't know why my iPhone keeps deleting them…
