My iphone 4 randomly shut off and won't turn on?

This has happened to me before and I know you're supposed to press the lock and home button together for 10 seconds but recently my lock button got stuck and won't work. Any suggestions?

It might be slow

Hit the lock button with a hammer… Really hard…

if its still stuck… Call, Apple at 800myiphone… This is a hardware issue… Only they can help

yet… Again… This is an old iphone 4… Which is phased out and no longer supported…

  • Why does my iPhone shut off randomly all the time? I have an iPhone 5s and I have had it for more than a year now. As of recently, when I use it, I could be texting, snapchatting or watching youtube videos and out of nowhere with no warning, It just turns off. The apple logo comes on the screen and then It turns off again. It comes on and then turns off and it stays like that for about 10-30 minutes. I don't know why it's been doing this and it's getting really annoying.
  • Why does my iPhone 6s randomly shut off outside? Sometimes when IIm outside my iPhone 6s would randomly shut off. It would show a dead battery sign and charger needed to be connected. 5min later it would turn back on. I've read that it may be the cold weather and I think that s part true. Since its pretty cold outside (New York) it would explain why it d shut off. Warm season didn't start yet and it's April. Does anyone else experiencing this or is it just me. Do I need a new battery?
  • My Iphone 4 shut off randomly and won't turn back on? - 1 I've searched the internet and found the same answer: hold the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time to reset the phone. Now the only bad thing is that my sleep/wake button is broken… So I have no idea what to do. I have the latest iOs update. I don't know maybe it will randomly turn itself back on
  • My laptop randomly shut off and now it won't turn back on? What's wrong with it? Do I have to buy a new one? I'm so confused. P.S. I'm typing this from my iPhone. I took the battery out and now it's working again. Yea! If I put the battery back in though, will it still work?
