My iPhone 4 will not finish jailbreak process?

I have iPhone 4 on iOS 6.1.3 and trying to jailbbreak with redsn0w my phone either stays stuck on the "downloading jailbreak data" screen or it will go as far as downloading all the information (white text) and continute to enter "please wait… " I've tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling redsn0w etcetc nothing will work please help. Yes I've restored to factory settings every time and yes I downloaded iOS 6.0 ispw and added that in the "extras-->select ispw". I'm maxed out. Please help.

Get ios 6.1.2. After that get evasi0n. Easy and quick, recommended for newbs.

Are you doing this on a pc or mac? Try using the other platform.
Mine didn't work on a pc but worked in a mac, but this was with a much older version. So try both.

Try another version of redsnow or older version of ios. Disable the virus scanner if you have any.

DFU mode must be done at the right time and properly before the next screen.
