My iPhone 4 won't play audio out of the speakers?

I tried to play music and it just won't play, please help. There isn't a bar to turn up the music and the + and - buttons don't work.

Look under your settings for Sounds There should be a slider for you to adjust ringtone. There may be a setting for media as well

Its stuck in headphone mode.
keep inserting headphones in and out til it pops out of that mode.

  • Speakers sound blown out when I play my music on the Aux cord? So starting today I put my Aux cord into my iPhone 6 to connect to my Pontiac Torrent to play music, and the audio was absolute garbage! It sounded like my speakers were blown out, which scared me. But I went to my radio to see if it did the same and it was fine! I thought it was just the aux cord breaking, but I bought a new one after work and it didn't help at all. What is wrong with my auxiliary port?
  • Pandora won't play through car speakers via USB? I currently drive a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LT and I usually play Pandora on my iPhone via the USB out which is included in the sound systems inside the Malibu models. For a while everything played perfectly, but not it does not. When I plug it in, my car recognizes that it is plugged in and the name of the Artist and song appear on the sound system like normal. However, it only plays through the speakers on my phone. What is the problem? Should I get a different connection other than USB?
  • My iPhone won't play through speakers? • My IPhone speakers won't play? Recently I got a little water in my phone, but it seems to be fine except for the ability to play music out loud. If I plug in headphones, music plays perfectly fine. Also, my ringtones will play out loud, so I don't think it's a speaker problem. I don't live close to an apple store, do I can't get it checked out. Any suggestions?
