My iPhone 4S has stop connecting to Internet outside my home?
When my phone is out of my home wi-fi range it doesn't connect to any form of wireless. No 3G, no edge, no nothing. I've tried restarting it and I'm not that great with technology talk so if you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it if you kept the advice quite easy to understand.
Ok… So basically you can't connect to cellular network. You tried restarting it, also called a forced re-registration to the nearest tower, and it still won't work…
do this… Turn Iphone off… Wait 3 minutes… Turn on… Work now? If not, IOS port to antena may be froze. Hold down power+home key until you see apple logo, then let go of buttons. This is called a hard reboot. Work now?
If not, Call your wireless carrier and report a possible network or sim issue. Or even (gulp) a phone hardware issue (requires itunes restoral andor phone replacement by Apple)
Make sure you have cellular data turned on in Settings > General > Cellular.
If that's not the problem try a hard reset, hold the home button and then the power button until the phone reboots.
If that doesn't fix it try restoring to an earlier backup.
If that doesn't work take it to an Apple store.

- Why is my iphone not connecting to internet outside of Wi-Fi? Ok. I restricted my internet on my iphone to be used only on Wi-Fi because i was about to go over my covered data. The data renewed so i unrestricted it. However, its like i didn't un restrict it at all. It still works on Wi-Fi but when its outside of Wi-Fi it won't connect. All of the settings is turned on for data to be used. Any ideas what may be going on or wat i could do?
