My IPhone 4S loses battery really fast?

Okay so I got the iPhone 4S for Christmas and I use it a lot. I use it like all day then I charge it over night and when it's charging it says 100% but when I unplug it, it goes straight to 99%.So I use it for like an hour then it's already at 25% why does it do that? And how can I keep it charged?

Mines the same way, people say that the iphone 4S has a faulty batterry. Mine will be at 75% and then die.

Hmm that's kinda weird mine doesn't loose a charge that fast maybe you have a lot of apps running maybe try turning the level of brightness down turning your Bluetooth off you know stuff like that or maybe you just got a bad one because I got a nextbook tablet for Christmas and it looses a charge really fast then takes FOREVER to charge I'm thinking about taking it back

I had one but given up on iPhone altogether but try the following:
Press and hold home button and close all apps
Turn screen brightness down
Turn on Wi-Fi and BT if not been used
Allow battery to fully die before charging and don't play on it while charging allow full cycle do this 3 to 4 times and should resolve or at least make battery last.

It went from 59%-25% in th matter of not even 2 hours and I checked the usage at 1% and it only had about 5 hours 40 minute usage and 19 hours standby. Is there anyway I can fix this?
