My iPhone 5 is messed up! Do I have warranty?

So I purchased my iPhone 5 right when it came out. And now I'm having a lot of problems with it, the lock button sometimes doesn't work, I can't hear anything unless I put it on speaker, the sounds don't work unless someone calls me, and a bunch of other crap. My question is… Is my iPhone 5 under warranty? No, I didn't purchase the insurance, apply care, etc. But does the phone come with the 1-year manufacturer warranty?

It depends on the carrier. I'd call customer service just to see. Some have 30 days some have 6 months 3 months and some a year.

Yes, your phone is under warranty up to a year after purchase. If you bring the phone to an apple store ( I recommend going to apple before going to your service provider, because they have more knowledge and the tools to fix iPhones.)

Yes it is covered under a 1 year warranty *unless* Apple determines the damage was due to abuse.

Seriously that sounds hard to believe that all those things suddenly are going wrong. I'm guessing you either dropped it hard or dropped it in water.
