My iphone 5 isn't playing music out of it's speaker?

I've had my iPhone 5 for barley under a year and no music will play out of the phones speakers. It will play if plugged into a speaker. Everything is up to date, I've never dropped it bad, never gotten it in water, nothing. I don't know what's going on

It might be a faulty speaker.

  • Why isn't my iPhone 5 playing any sound? Ok so I'll play a game or something and it won't play and sound! And it won't make the little ticking sound when I type. Please help! I already turned it off them on and Reyes everything, help please?

IT CAN'T BE THAT BECAUSE I CAN HERE SOUNDS SAY LIKE IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY ALARM TONE.
  • My iPhone 5 is not playing sound at all, but the speaker seems to be working? I got a new iPhone 5 on Wednesday and the sounds not working. It won't play music or videos but when you call it you can hear the person and they person can hear you. I've trie turning it on and off again with no avail.
  • Music on my iPhone 4 only comes out of the right speaker? It used to come out of both. And when I plug in my headphones, it doesn't come through the right side, only the left. Without the headphones, it comes out of the right side, but not the left. It hasn't done this before.
