My iPhone 5 isn't receiving text messages?
I have an iPhone 5, it's about 4 and a half months old. It worked fine until a few hours ago. I have to do an entire system reboot (home and sleep button at the same time) if I wanna even check to see if I got a message every single time I wanna check. I'm having a very important conversation.
Make sure your Mobile network is on.
Can you check Setting>Messages>Receive At> You can be reached for messages at: here you can see "Phone" make sure this is shown as "Phone" if this is "Error" switch iMessage of and on, this will verify you number (Perhaps your wifes).

- Why is my iPhone 4 receiving text messages late? I have an iPhone 4, I've had it for just a year. The past month or so, sometimes I'll receive a message. However, when I check the time it was received, it was usually 5 or 10 minutes ago, today I just got one from 18 minutes ago and it only just notified me now. It's starting to bug me a lot, can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem? The phone is also running the most current software, I always do updates (even though it steals all of my storage, grrr).
- Receiving text messages on iPad to my email on iPhone? I recently changed my apple ID to my yahoo account. Now, when someone texts my iPad, it not only goes to my iPad, but goes to that email on my iPhone. It hasn't done this before. Anyone know how I can fix that?

- IPhone 5s isn't receiving messages on time? I don't use or want to use iMessage. I'm with Optus prepaid, I've also had my phone replaced assuming it was the phone having problems but even the new phone is having issues. I have switched it off hundreds of times, restarted it and restored it. It's a really difficult situation, I don't understand why this is happening. If anyone could help me, that'd be great.
