Receiving text messages on iPad to my email on iPhone?
I recently changed my apple ID to my yahoo account. Now, when someone texts my iPad, it not only goes to my iPad, but goes to that email on my iPhone. It hasn't done this before. Anyone know how I can fix that?
There's nothing wrong with this. If you used different accounts on your devices in the past, that's the reason why you haven't received your messages on both of them before. Now you're using the same account for them and your messages go to both of them via icloud
Change the apple id of your iphone and you are done. You are receiving this message on both devices because you are logged in using same credentials.So, there's no other fix other than using separate id's on both devices.
- Why is my iPhone 4 receiving text messages late? I have an iPhone 4, I've had it for just a year. The past month or so, sometimes I'll receive a message. However, when I check the time it was received, it was usually 5 or 10 minutes ago, today I just got one from 18 minutes ago and it only just notified me now. It's starting to bug me a lot, can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem? The phone is also running the most current software, I always do updates (even though it steals all of my storage, grrr).

I have to do an entire system reboot (home and sleep button at the same time) if I wanna even check to see if I got a message every single time I wanna check. - Iphone 5 not receiving text messages from other iPhone? Ir receives iMessage perfectly fine when I'm connected to Wi-Fi but when I don't have Wi-Fi I turn iMessage off and switch to text but when I do that I NEVER get the other iPhone's messages until I switch onto Wi-Fi with iMessage. Why is it doing this? If I turn cellular on then it automatically switches to iMessage and I don't want it to do that, I just want to TEXT. And it's on the "send as sms when imessage isn't available" setting too.
