My iPhone 5 seems to not be charging at all and stuck on 1%
I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.4 and now it won't charge at all. I have tried different chargers and it seems not to be the problem, I even restored it to its regular factory settings on my computer and it still will only say 1%. I have also let it charge all night on and off multiple times and still, I get the same outcome.
Messed up battery. Happens when water gets into it or you dropped it or something. Go get a new battery.
Try using a different computer (if you have one) or even a wall charger. It could just be your computer, but if this doesn't work just go to the apple website and leave a question.
Take it to an apple store, they will probably replace it if they can't find the problem.
- My Wi-Fi button on my HP Laptop seems to be stuck on airplane mode? It stays orange no matter how many times I hit it, and when I do click it my computer claims that airplane mode is off. But it also claims that there are no networks available. I think it's a problem with my computer, because my sister s laptop is connecting just fine. (My iPhone is connecting fine too.) when I go to setting to trouble shoot, it claims that a network cable is not properly put in/broken.
- My usb cable for iPhone seems to have problem with charging? My usb cable for iPhone seems to have problem with charging - either by charger or via usb port it does not work. But it is recognized by iTunes. Any ideas except of buying another one? No, there's no error message. There's even little lightning showed on battery icon, but it does not charge at all - tonight I put plugged it in with 33% of battery and when I came back it was totally dead…
- My iPhone 5 is not playing sound at all, but the speaker seems to be working? I got a new iPhone 5 on Wednesday and the sounds not working. It won't play music or videos but when you call it you can hear the person and they person can hear you. I've trie turning it on and off again with no avail.
- IPhone charging cable not supported but still charging? I have a genuine Apple cable that came with my iPhone 6 (updated to the latest iOS). It fully charges up but when it gets to 100% I get a message that says "this accessory may not be supported". I don't see any damage to the cable and I have only had it a couple of months. Not sure whether to just ignore it or not?
