My usb cable for iPhone seems to have problem with charging?

My usb cable for iPhone seems to have problem with charging - either by charger or via usb port it does not work. But it is recognized by iTunes. Any ideas except of buying another one?

Added (1). No, there's no error message. There's even little lightning showed on battery icon, but it does not charge at all - tonight I put plugged it in with 33% of battery and when I came back it was totally dead…

What does it say when you plug it in? Does a little caution sign pop up and say charging is not applicable? If so then there's not fixing it. You will have to buy a new one. I recommend a belkin charger. Heres the one I have.http://www.belkin.com/hk/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=658365

  • Regardimg charging iphone through laptop via USB cable? This is my issue. When I start my laptop (running Windows Vista), when I plug in my iPhone through USB, I can charge it and access it through iTunes as it should be but as soon as I unplug it, when I replug it the laptop doesn't recognize it and it won't charge at all. When I access device manager, I see a little triangle with an exclamation mark saying error code 10. Any idea how I can fix this issue?
