My Iphone 5 won't charge or reset?

I bought a new Iphone 5 two days ago and it was my dads friends wifes Iphone so basically it was used. The condition of it is very good! So when I got this Iphone everything was fine but then I realised that the charger was just a copy and wasn't a original charger. I didn't really mind because a lot of my friends have "fake" chargers and they work just fine. So when my phone reached a low percentage I went to charge it and realised that I had to hold it in a certain place for it to even charge. I was getting annoyed because that message kept coming up the one where it says "This accessory may not be supported". I didn't want to ask my parents for a new charger because I only just go the phone, I instead decided to hold the phone in one place.

The next day the charger wouldn't charge my phone at all and I realised that it was actually broken so basically the seller sold it broken to me. My phone completely died to the point where it wouldn't even show me the battery with the red lines inside of it to show that it needed charging. So I messaged my friend and asked him if he had a spare one I could borrow. He did and lent it to me in school today. When I got home I tried charging it and it won't charge. It won't show me the low battery sign. I've tried holding the top button and the middle button together for about a minute and it wouldn't even reboot. It's basically just a black screen.

I really need help on how to fix it? Anyone know any good solutions?

Not all third-party chargers are equal.
