My iPhone 5s alerts me twice when i get a text?

OKay so say I'm texting someone and my lock screen is on.It'll light up and make a sound that I have a text. And then SOMETIMES a few minutes later it'll do it again for the same text. What's wrong? In my settings it says to only alert me once.

In this scroll down and find "repeat alerts"
Turn it off! It works.
