My iPhone 5s volume works when I have my earphones in, but not when I take them out?
When I have my earphones plugged in, I can turn the volume up and down as I please, but when I take them out and press the volume buttons, it shows if the volume is up or down, but no sound comes out. How do I fix this?
It sounds like it could be a problem with the phone's speakers. Try to see if there isn't a setting conflicting with the speaker's volume (i.e phone on mute, Do Not Disturb mode, etc.) and if this doesn't solve the problem, I suggest you bring your phone to a certified Apple technician to test and if needed, replace the built-in speaker.
- Volume on my iPhone 4S doesn't work only when I put the earphones on? Today I tried listening to music on my iPhone 4S, only to find that my volume adjuster had disappeared. And just to clarify, when I say that it disappeared, I mean that when I press the volume buttons on my phone, I see the speaker icon but the gauge bar is gone. - My iphone 3gs volume don't work they only work when you put earphones in? I recently repaired my 3gs because all the buttons were broken. But they still had worked i just needed buttons on because it was hard to put the volume up or down. So when all the buttons were fixed i can only use the earphones too adjust the volume from the side if i take the earphones off i can't hear my music or game sound… So how do i fix this?
- IPhones earphones one of them not working? I just got my new iPhone 5s along with the earphones they come along with almost 2 months ago. I love the earphones, but just yesterday one of them went out. I can't hear from it, I'm guessing it has something to do with the speaker, can I go back to at&t where I first got it & ask for another one because 1 month & a half is way to short of a time for me to have problems with the earphones.
