My Iphone 6 has issues picking up the Wi-Fi signal?
I recently bought an used Iphone 6 online however I was never infomed that the phone had issues picking the Wi-Fi signal. I literally have to be sitting next to the router in order to get Wi-Fi and already tried all the options I've read to fix it. I would like to know what could be wrong with the phone? If one of those repairs store could fix the problem? And around how much would the cost be? If anybody has had the same issue or have seem it before!
I have had the best luck with taking my stuff to the Apple store for repairs and problem. Many times they fix it for free, or a vary reasonable price.
So take it there first, and simply say it's has a Wi-Fi weakness, and see what they say! I would be surprised if they don't swap out your phone!
Oh, and they have the (Apple only) diagnostics they run to see what the issue is.
The most likely problem is that the Wi-Fi card inside is damaged somehow. You may be able to get this repaired by Apple but they may just say they need to replace the entire phone. Bring it to the Apple Store and see what they say. There's a possibility they will fix it for free.
A better option than a iphone 6 used would be a new android phone but you may need to get your iphone fixed
- Worth picking up an Iphone 4 for $279? It's not the S model, I don't believe, but is that a good price? Or can I find something significantly better for the price? If so, please drop some names for me. Would prefer if this was an established brand - respect by both buyers and tech-savvy reviewers (Cnet.com, etc).
- Why is my laptop not picking up my Wi-Fi but my iphone is? I have an 'Acer Aspire One Happy 2' laptop that runs on windows 7. I have just gone to my grans and her Wi-Fi works fine on my Iphone 4 but my laptop is not even picking up the signal. My laptop works fine at the Mcdonalds round the corner from me so why isn't it working here. I even typed it in manually and it didn't work, its not picking up any signal at all

Have a iPhone 5 updated iTunes to latest version, the desktop is not detecting the phone but the laptop is, they both have the same iTunes version and operating system, it works on the laptop but not desktop. It won't even charge it, I've tried a few cords all with same results.
