My iPhone 6 Plus has a weird red smudge under the screen I think it has something to do with the LCD?
It got stuck under a reclining movie theatre seat and was jammed. After taking it out my phone was heavily damaged cosmetically and a few hours after that I noticed a weird red smudge that I can't get away. It's strange because when leave my phone displays a white screen it disappears and there's a slight blue/ purple smudge but any other color screen and the red smudge appears. I'm getting a new phone in 7 and 1/2 months. Should I wait it out? It doesn't seem to physically affect the phone i don't know what to do

I tried putting in rice overnight but it didn't help. This is my second phone since Apple had to replace my first phone because it was delivered broken. I got this phone on the 9th of March this year. It's an iPhone 5s. If it is water damage, do you think it would evaporate and go back to normal?
