My iphone 6 touch screen is not working
I bought my friends iphone 6 like 2 weeks ago. It works fine but the touch screen sometimes doesn't work. And it has gotten progressively worse. Everything on the phone works just the touch screen is in and out. It has not been working a lot though. I have tried resetting by holding the power and home button multiple times. Sometimes it works for a little bit then it stops other times it does not help at all. Sometimes the phone will click random app buttons on its own while the touch screen is unresponsive. I don't know what to do. I took off the screen protector and still nothing. The phone is not cracked.
Sounds like that phone has been dropped more than a couple of times or has gotten wet at some point in the ownership it had with your friend. Take the phone to an Apple store and have them take a look at it. If they find no physical damage or indication it has water damage, they may have a solution for you, which may entail replacing the screen or the entire phone, either way they will let you know how much, and then you decide if it is worth paying any more money to repair/replace it.
- Why is my iPhone 4's touch screen not working well? I have an iPhone 4, and has recently stopped working properly. When I unlock it, it will sometimes take at least 5 swipes to work. It's even worse when I try to put in my passcode. In the middle of playing a game or texting someone, the touch screen will stop working, and I can't tap. The home and power button still work just fine, but I need to power off and then back on again to get it working again. If anyone can help, it is greatly appreciated.
- My Iphone touch screen isn't working? I dropped it while bending over, and now whenever I go to slide to unlock, it doesn't move. When I go to power it off, the cancel works fine, but again, the slide bar won't work. I restarted it, and when I do this, it automatically brings up the passlock, and when I go to type it in, only the 1 - 2 - 3 and 5 work… So I can't unlock my iphone at all. Does anyone know what I can do to get it working?
- Iphone touch screen not working? The assistive touch is working and allows me to press on it, and i can access the toolbar things with top and bottom swipe but if i try to unlock it won't unlock and if i try to turnoff the swipe to turn off won't work either! Wtf do i do! Iphone4s
- Iphone 5s touch screen not working? I cracked my phone awhile ago and one day i woke up and the touch screen function was not working, I thought it was because i needed to get a new screen, so i did. But now i have the new screen and it still isn't working, what can be the problem? I don't have apple care so can't take it into them.
