Switch it off and on again. Then dump it and buy an Android phone.
That sounds like a display problem. The only "fix" is to get the display replaced.
Do as you wish. Regarding your phone, take more care with the replacement.
You broke it. Go to the Apple store and hand them a barrel of money.
Take it in to be repaired of course.
