My iphone connected to the computer?

So a while ago my dad said he can see everything that I've got on my iphone and ipod just by looking at his computer. Such as pictures, internet history, everything. Is this really true? How does it work?
if it really does work, how do get my self out of it?

--- Wireless carriers can't record this information due to FCC Federal Privacy Laws. However, these laws do not cover 3rd party companies like MobileWatchDog.com, "BoyFriend Tracker" app (recently on the NBC news Monday-google it!), and many many MANY more… If mom and dad is willing to cough up $$$$$$$$$$$$ per month for this service, then they will be God on your phone… No joke… Listen to/record incoming calls/SMS/MMS, outgoing calls/SMS/MMS, internet web history, look at the pictures you taken, record yoru video chats, GPS tracking accurate down to 15-30 meters, mobile wipe, mobile lock, mobile shutdown, block outgoing calls, block incoming calls, etc etc etc etc…

How it works depends on the service… Most services are non-app based now, since kids know how to uninstall apps they never installed on there phones… Instead, the 3rd party service uses the wireless signal to your phone, and through superuser properties and customer permission (18 and below are not old enough to be granted consent per federal law), the user with a computer or app on their phone can control "your" phone, be notified when you get a call or text, read or listen to it on the spot in the middle of the grocery store deciding on what flavor of coffee creamer to buy…

Legality issues come into play when a person does this to someone over the age of 18, when they can give or deny consent. Boyfriend Tracker hit the news cause its extremely popular, yet extremely illegal. Its nothing more than a Parental Control app like MobileWatchDog with a brand new name…

--- smash your phone… Or… Kill yourself… Or emancipate your parents!

app based trackers can be stopped by uninstalling the app. If you have a weird app on your phone that requires a password… Or an app that you never downloaded. Or an "audio" or "music" app or "picture gallery" app (it's a disguise!) that when you go into the app's settings--- it wants a password (so mom/dad can edit the tracker app settings)… If you have this kind of app, uninstall it… Service based apps can't be stopped, unless you pretend to be mom or dad, know their Social Securit number, and account password, call the companies, verify said information above, and be given access to the account settings… Then you can stop it… Other than that, smash your phone… Or… Kill yourself… Or emancipate your parents!

Only explanation I can think of is connecting to itunes on the PC, you can view images, apps, music and video but this requires you to be connect to the computer either via Wi-Fi or usb cable. To make sure he can't anymore go to iTunes and see if you can see your iphone, if you can you have Wi-Fi sync turned on, go to your phone in itunes and in the summary page scroll down to the options section and turn off sync with this iphone over Wi-Fi and click apply.

If you have iCloud on your iPhone and your iPhone is using the same account as your dad's iPad or computer or whatever, then content from your phone can automatically be sent to all devices on the same account. So he will be able to see these things. You should be able to disable this.
