My iPhone fell in water, what should I do?

Okay, so its not visibly damaged (the screen has no water on it) and it works fine so far. I turned it off and placed it in a sealed bag with rice. What should I do now?
There isn't too much water in the phone. How long should I keep it in the bag? I was thinking 3 hours. Is that too short?

Wait AT LEAST 24 hours. If you turned it off/took the battery out right away, it likely going to be okay. Just wait as long as you possibly can before turning it back on so you don't short the circuit.

Try going a whole day with it in the bag of rice, just to be sure.
