My iPhone gets hot every time I get on it. What do I do?
The back Of my iPhone 4s gets really hot everytime I use it. I haven't even had it for a year yet. September will make it a year. I don't know what to do. I'm continuously blowing on the back of it and only using it if a fan is blowing directly on it. I've tried turning my phone off and on, but it will still get hot. I can't even talk on the phone with out it gettin extremely hot. It gets hot In less than 10 minutes. What can I do for it to stop getting hot?
2 options/ideas. If you are really concerned go to a specialist, like your local phone repairs and ask them.
2nd idea is that you think about the apps you are using to get it so hot. If it is a problem with high demanding games on your phone then I expecgt it to be hot really quick.
I recommend that you go to your phone company store (sprint, version, etc.) you can go there and ask them and show them your phone. It won't cost anything, unless you need to get something replaced. You might need something as small as a new battery, to a new phone.
That is just how batteries are. The more power that is drained the more heat it generates. Same with charging it, more power it absorbs more heat it generates.
Try turning off unnecessary apps. Try adjusting screen display settings so it is not at full brightness.
So when you are using it, it is draining more power, then it will generate some heat.
- My iPhone 6s gets hot in the right corner Some water got in my phone and I put in rice for a while, then after i took it out when i put it on the charger it heats up in the right corner. (Also i think the display is out.)
- My iPhone 5 gets very hot in my otterbox defender case? Is it just me or does every-time i put my iPhone 5 into a otter box, it gets really hot. All my other cases don't do this but this one it does. Is it just me?
- My iPhone 4 won't charge and gets very hot? I've had my iPhone 4 for about 2 years, but recently since I went abroad its been having troubles. It won't charge longer than about 40%, but then it looses charge really quickly. It also heats up allot on the back of the phone, and the torch used to be constantly on dimly but that's stopped now. What is the problem and how is it fixed? , thank you
- Iphone gets very hot when charging and battery dies fast? I took it to Apple and the associate told me that the battery is fine and said I needed to restore my phone back to factory settings. I did restore it and of course, it did not work. That wasn't very helpful. It's still getting hot when I charge it and as soon as I take it off the charger it loses battery very fast. Within an hour I'm back at 2% battery life. Does anyone know what else the problem could be?
