My iPhone 5 gets very hot in my otterbox defender case?
Is it just me or does every-time i put my iPhone 5 into a otter box, it gets really hot. All my other cases don't do this but this one it does. Is it just me?
No Otter Boxes are just fat and dense with protection and keeps the heat in.
Otterboxes don't have much room to vent (like most cases) but the only difference is Otterboxes are a particularly thick case. If you want your iPhone to not become super hot then switch to a thinner medium protection case such as Speck, etc.
Change your case and see the difference for yourself.

- My iPhone 4 won't charge and gets very hot? I've had my iPhone 4 for about 2 years, but recently since I went abroad its been having troubles. It won't charge longer than about 40%, but then it looses charge really quickly. It also heats up allot on the back of the phone, and the torch used to be constantly on dimly but that's stopped now. What is the problem and how is it fixed? , thank you
