My iphone has stopped working after downloading new ios7?

I have the iphone 4 and just downloaded the new ios7.02. Now the iphone isn't working! All i have on my screen is the connect to itunes icon. But itunes no longer recognizes my phone! The same thing happened to my ipas last month and i still have not managed to get my comp to recognise that either! I tried the home button and the on/off button trick a countless amount of times and still nothing! My ioad is exacly the same after downloading the ios6 the other month! Apple is really starting to get on my nerves! Can i please get some advise? What do i do to save both my ipad and my iphone? More i, portently my phone! Thanks.

Added (1). My iphone is in DFU mode, but itunes still isn't recognizing it.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with iOS 7.

What you can do is completely restore the iDevices but in order to do that you will need to put them into DFU mode.

DFU mode requires a bit of timing and can take practice to get right, so if at first you don't succeed, don't be afraid to try and try again.

Plug your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad into your Mac or Windows PC and make sure iTunes is running.
Hold down both the Sleep Button (on top of your device) and the Home Button (on the front underneath the screen).
Keep them both held down for about 10 seconds. (If you see the Apple logo, you've held them too long and will need to start again.)
Let go of the Sleep Button but keep holding the Home Button for about 5 seconds. (If you see the "Plug into iTunes" screen than you held it too long and will need to start again.)
If the screen stays black, that's it! Your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad should now be in DFU mode.
You will get a pop up message in iTunes that you have a device that is in recovery mode. Accept and select the restore link in iTunes.iTunes will download the software again if it needs to and will proceed to restore your device.

You should be good once this is completed and you can go thru the setup or restore from a backup using iCloud or iTunes.

EDIT… Check to see if your iTunes is updated to the newest version as a new one came out just recently. If you are on a PC uninstall iTunes and reinstall if that doesn't fix your issue.
