My iphone has water damage. Its turns on just fine but it doesn't detect my finger?
Added (1). i've tried the rice method and it only removed the water. Is there anything else i can try before buying a new iphone?
Short of replacing the display, there really isn't anything you can do about it. Water damage almost always kills or disables phones and other electronics. The rice method doesn't really work.
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
- I dropped my iphone in water i dried it ans it works fine just that the volume is a little messed up. What should i do? I turned it off and placed it in rice but i'm tempted on turning it back on how long should i leave it in rice?

I'm really nervous about this I dropped it in a huge pot of water and I'm afraid I messed it up, and if I did I won't be getting a new one and iPhone 4 is some expensive ***, Excuse my language but anyway it is working perfectly fine but I'm still nervous about it being messed up now somehow. Do you think it's fine or should I do something like put it in white rice or something?

Us or any other touchscreen of phone(s) computer(s) to press buttons and use the touchscreen? The individual is not using their right hand thumb or left hand thumb or right hand index finger or left hand index finger for pressing on the buttons and touchscreen. Explain your answer.
