Dropped iPhone 4 in Pot of Water but its working fine?

I'm really nervous about this I dropped it in a huge pot of water and I'm afraid I messed it up, and if I did I won't be getting a new one and iPhone 4 is some expensive ***, Excuse my language but anyway it is working perfectly fine but I'm still nervous about it being messed up now somehow. Do you think it's fine or should I do something like put it in white rice or something?

Because there could be water in your iPhone (it is not waterproof), you want to get it out before it ruins your phone by causing a short circuit and ruining either the phone or the battery. First, turn the phone off and remove the battery. Sorry, but you have to do this As soon as possible. Second, you need to buy a water absorbent material (aka desiccant) to absorb the water that got into the phone. I recommend this: Bheestie Bags. I know it is a silly name, but the material is the "right stuff." It costs $20 and you can buy it on Amazon. Link: http://www.amazon.com/...002KDSXTA/

I haven't used it before, but I did read some good reviews of it in an engineering magazine. You drop you phone without the battery into a zip-lock bag with this stuff and leave it there for three days. The desiccant absorbs the water vapor in the air. As it drys out the air in the bag, the water in your phone will "vaporize" into the dry air, which will be absorbed by the desiccant. Give it three days to dry out your phone completely and you should be good to go.
