My iPhone is attached to someone else's account?
I just bought a used iPhone online and I revived it only to find out it's attached to the sellers account. Can I reset the phone and just sign into account or will that lock the iCloud?
The owner has to wipe it, then you can set it up as your own. Contact the seller, I think they can do it remotely also with find my iphone. Which by the way they can see where you are at because you can't turn that off either, so they need to wipe it as its a security feature.
Uh, oh. ICloud activation lock. Almost impossible to bypass. Either the owner 'forgot' to take it out of their profile or the phone was locked due to loss or theft. You need to contact that email address and ask them or pay them to release that device from their account. Apple won't touch it. They don't do third party drama. Worst case, send it back to the online guy and start over. Best luck.
- Used iPhone is connected to someone else's account? I bought an iPhone forever ago, it wasn't restored, but now I just restored it, and it says I need the previous owner's apple ID, and I have absolutely no way of getting it. What else can I do?
- My iphone is connected to someone else's icloud account? Someone that I knew gave me their iPhone a few months ago because they bought a new one and since she moved away I lost touch with her. A few days ago I thought it would be a good idea to restore the iphone without backing it up (how smart) and now it's not completely activated because the phone is connected to her iCloud account and I have no clue what the log in information is. Is there any way I can fix this or should I go into the apple store and have them try and fix it?
- Is the facebook for mobile attached to the iphone app as well? I use facebook for mobile i have a android. I noticed i also have iphone for facebook on my page but i don't have a iphone and i have tried to get rid of it but it doesn't work Just wondering why i have iphone app since i have android
- How to clear someone someone else's iCloud info off my Iphone 5? I got a used iPhone but the previous owner didn't wipe the phone and it still has all of his data on it. When I try to log off his iCloud or reset the phone it asks for his iCloud password. Is there a way to do this without his password? It's my brother's boss's old phone so I feel a little weird asking for his password.
