My iPhone is bricked and says its in dfu soft?

I tried turning on my iPhone yesterday and nothing happened so i plugged it into my computer where it said i needed to restore it but whenever i try it tells me that an error occurred so i updated both my computer and iTunes but it still doesn't work so i tried recboot redsnow tiny umbrella and some other apps and nothing has worked please let me know if you can help me cause i really need my phone

From your description it seems that there should be some problems while you tried to reboot using your computer. It may be possible that you didn't follow the instructions properly. As a result you had the issue. Anyway if you follow the guidelines properly I'm quite sure you won't face any issue again.

  • What happens when you put your iphone into dfu mode when its turned on? I had my iphone on and put it into dfu mode( i think thats what its called ) but i held down the home and power button for ten seconds and then let go of the power button and continued to hold the home button for another ten seconds. My screen went black and now it won't turn on! I plugged it into itunes and restored it. Will that fix everything. If not help me please!
