My iPhone is using up way too much battery. Here's what I've done
Turned off notifications
Turned off mail push
Turned down brightness
Turned off some location services
Turned off some system services
Turned off automatically send diagnostics
Turned off vibrate on ring
Turned off some of the "use cellular data for" apps
Turned off some background app usage
Turned off auto brightness
Closed out apps in background
And probably a couple others that I can't think of right now?
With only 30 minutes of phone usage, my battery goes from 100 to 10 percent.
It might need a new battery
Your iPhone battery is dead. This happens when you use it too much for over the course of 2 years. I would recommend just buying a new phone/ipod.
IPhone batteries don't last forever. Might be time to get yours replaced. A local phone repair shop can do it.
Generally the apps that use the most power are those that use GPS (location services), play video, or that use the camera. Have you closed all background apps?
Not always but sometimes restarting the iphone helps it to drain at a normal rate. Also maybe try an Battery Saver App from the apple play store, which could help as well
- Using too much data on my iPhone 4s? I have around 100mb left on my data plan of 3GB and i have 10 days left, i turned off my cellular data will that prevent me from going over my plan?
- My iphone 4 battery dies way too fast? I just got the phone yesterday and today the battery went down way too fast. I charged it last night and woke up to it having like 97%. Throughout the day the battery life would go down very fast. All i was doing on the phone was listen to music (not through Pandora or anything, just the regular way) every now and then. What can i do to make the battery life on my iPhone last longer?
- Iphone is heating up too much by using cellular data? Whenever i turn on cellular data, te screen and back of my iphone gets very hot after 10 minutes or so. I was wondering if this was normal or there's a problem.
- IPhone has Way too much other? I have an iPhone 5 on v6.0.1. Now, I know that a 'quick fix' would be to restore my phone, as many have said in different answers. My Other category is 3.6 gigs of data. I was going to restore it, but iTunes is telling me that I don't even have enough free space to restore. Which was the INITIAL problem that I'm trying to fix, BY RESTORING. Does anyone have an tips, tricks, websites, limericks, that can/could help me out? Things that have helped you are VERY welcome.
