My iPhone stopped displaying message notifications?
So I've had my iPhone 4s for two years now and suddenly I've stopped getting notifications for messages: lock screen notifications, banners, and even the red badges that show up on the app itself.
I get no notifications and then I open my messages and see that I do indeed have new messages.
I checked my notifications settings and they're still set to display all three forms of notifications. Is there anyway I can fix this?

If you've had your iPhone 4S for two years then you should definitely be able to get a new iPhone 4S (8GB) for free or a 5c for $100 or the 5S for $200.
Just start by trying this really simple set of steps using your iPhone: click Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
If that doesn't work I guess you could back your phone up to iTunes on your computer it doesn't require Internet or anything like that, all you need is your USB cord for charging your iPhone and a computer with iTunes installed on it. Once you've plugged your phone into your computer open up iTunes if it doesn't open automatically and follow these steps: click on the "Library" button in the top right>click "iPhone" in the top right>go down to where it says "Backups" and make sure "This computer" is checked> and then click on back up now. This will save all of your music, app data (like levels in games, notes, messages, photos, settings, videos, contacts, etc), just basically every little thing on your iPhone.
After you've done this, I'd reset your phone to factory settings. You can do this by following these steps on your iPhone: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. After it's done and it turns back on, then you can restore backup to your iPhone. Plug your iPhone back into your computer and follow the settings in the second paragraph but you need to select the "Restore Backup…" button instead and choose your backup and then you get all of your data and everything back.
This might not work but it's worth a try before taking it any further. I hope this helps you!

- Why is my iPhone 4S not displaying the status bar when I'm on Safari? I was on YouTube and then I look up and the status bar on my iPhone wasn't there! It's there on any other app but on Safari it totally disappears. What is wrong with my iPhone? No my phone is new. I got it for my birthday about 6 months ago. It was in its box and my parents got it at best buy. So it's not jail broken.

- My message notifications won't work on my new iphone 5c? I got my new iPhone 5c 2 days ago and so did my mom. When she gets a text, it shows up either on her lock screen, or on a banner at the top of whatever page she is on, and makes her text alert sound. Mine doesn't do that and makes no sound. I can only see when I have a text message by opening my messages app. I can't figure out the difference between our two iPhones.
