My iphone suddenly stopped working. Warranty?

I opened up the facebook app and then came a black screen out of no where. I did the whole resetting with the home and sleep button and restoring under recovery mode thing, but still nothing. I still have warranty though.

However, my phone did have contact with water a little over a month after buying it. I put it in a bag of rice for 3 days and everything worked again. That happened 5 months ago. So I had 5 good months of this iphone after that incident until now.

I understand that Apple won't replace a phone if it's broken due to water. But do you still think apple can replace it through warranty even though this happened? I mean it still worked for 5 months after the water engagement.

Added (1). And the water detector on my iphone is red, which means that my iphone did get contact with water. I'm just wondering if apple can replace my iphone with my 1 year warranty if i explain to them that my phone still worked for 5 months after the water incident.

Well maybe you used it to much and the battery went dead. Just recharge it and if it is not the case and it something else go get a new phone. You had it a good 5 months so i seriously doubt that it was water damage.
