My iPhone texts me my text messages back to me. How can I stop this?

I'm new to iPhones so don't know how to stop this

In Settings- Messages- Send and Receive, it is possible that you info is entered twice. There's possibly another spot in which you can surgically request that s city of your text be sent back to you. Not recalling that at the moment. In the Book of directions, see how to Send My Item Text back to my self and do bthe opposite.

  • Will my texts come back if I back up and restore my iPhone? My iPhone 5s keeps saying I don't have enough storage but I've deleted so much I have a total of only 3 apps I downloaded and 130 pictures. My apps keep force closing so I've decided I should just back up and restore my phone on iTunes but will my texts come back? I've deleted most of my texts too there's just some I want to still have

When someone calls me on my new phone, it shows up as "missed call from ___".It doesn't ring on my on my old phone, but after I answer the call on my new phone, it says missed call on the old phone, if that makes sense. I receive text messages from people on my old iphone as well. I use it as my iPod because it could drain the life out of my new phone, so I don't necessarily want to reset the entire phone. I have cellular data off and I'm with Verizon.

  • IPhone 5 stop receiving text messages? Please can you let me know how i can stop receiving text messages on my iPhone 5. I don't want to put my phone into airplane mode or turn off data. Oh, and I don't want to spend ages and block all contacts or contact the provider. Is there any other way?
