My iphone was fully submerged in a pool for several minutes?
I'm trying the rice method which I have read about with mixed results, but I assume it is going to be a complete loss. I have read something about an out of warranty replacement. It is a 4s and bought less than a year ago. Does anyone have experience with this?
No leave it in there for like a few days
- What to do if iPhone gets submerged in pool? Ok, so my iPhone 5s was in the Lifeproof case and I took it swimming with me. The charging port came open and some water got in and water probably got in the phone. The water has chlorine in it and I heard when the phone dries, it leaves residue behind and you should treat it in a pure grain alcohol bath. I only have 70% Isopropyl alcohol. Will this work?
- My iPhone sometimes requires several presses of the home button. Is this normal? It takes like 6 presses of the home button to wake it up, but this is only occasionally. BTW, this is a refurbished iPhone
- My iPhone 6s has no phone case and I've dropped it several times but there has never been any damage The screen hasn't cracked and it still works like new and the phone is as old as when the first iPhone 6s came out. But it's just funny because i Never have a case on it and it's fallen, maybe only 3 feet at most onto wood floors and nothing has happened yet. Anyone else relate?
- My iphone 5 got fully submerged in water So I was swimming with my friend in our lake and my iPhone 5 was in my pocket. And I jumped in. We swam for about 5 minutes. When we came back. Well, you know the rest. Now, I let it dry and plugged it in. Came on, no water damage on screen. Looked fine. But shut off shortly after. Is this recoverable? If so, how?
