My iPhone won't activate messages?
My software is completely up to date, and I'm using my right apple ID. I have used iMessage on my phone before but for some reason is now not letting me.
What do I do?
First check to see if you have your data turned off that is usually thenissue. SometiMes IMessage goes down I don't know why but many people in my local area lose iMessage for a couple hours all at once.
- Why won't my iphone 3gs activate? I just updated it to iOs 5 and whtatnot and now its not activating. It says " your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailabe. Try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it and i did but it says no sim card founded and i do have a sim card, an at&t one and i try resetting the phone to restore it but no progress!
- Why do iPhone messages come up as picture messages on other phones? When my friend sends me texts, she has an iphone, they come up as picture messages and i can't revieve them on my phone because my plan doesn't cover picture messages. Can she change the settings so it won't come up as a picture?
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Read messages on my iPhone sometimes show up as unread messages on my Mac? - 1 I'm talking about email messages. I have my accounts hooked up to iCloud, so if I read an email on my iPhone or Mac, it should count it as read on the other device. It has worked, but sometimes it doesn't. What can/should I do?
