MY IPHONE WON't STOP TURNING OFF
So last night my friend knocked over gatorade onto my phone at band practice. I have the iPhone. Well at first it was okay, so I dryed off the screen and the back and went back to playing. I came back to my phone two hours later and the phone wouldn't turn on! Finally after 4 mins of trying I turned on. Then after 30 mins it turned off, and wouldn't turn back on! So when I got home I put it in rice and went to sleep. Now it's working, but it keeps turning off, but then it will turn back on. So is there anything extra I need to do? Should I put it back into the rice? Or is it just tuning off because it's sticky in the inside? Is my phone okay?
Dafuq why you put it in rice? Try rebooting the device or send it to apple to get fix if you got insurance or make your friend fix it fir u
Well for the dude that answered above mine, rice soaks up the water. Also first I would back up the phone if possible, then restore it. Most of the time stuff can be resolved by restoring it.
If that doesn't work then it's probably something wrong with the phone itself or the battery. Take it to an Apple store or set up a Genius Bar appointment. If they find out that it is water damaged by the water paper things located in the headphone jack, the charger dock, and inside the back by the battery.
If they do find that the phone is water damaged then it will cost you $50 with AppleCare+ or $199 without the warrenty.
I HAVe the same problem! My friend got my phone wet and now it turns off all the time and I can't turn it back on and sometimes I can. Did you find a solution to this problem?
- Why is my iPhone 5 turning off and not turning back on? This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries. Has anybody experienced this?
- My iPhone keeps turning on and off like it turns on and off. Can someone tell me? Okay tbms it turns on and off on and off and then sometimes it shows a red screen for a few seconds then off again and dies out. It's not the battery because I got that changed thinking that it was the cause and it wasn't. So is there anything someone can help me with? I have no insurance for it either. I ordered it online, it's a contract with 3 mobile.i'm not sure if warranty as run out.
