My ipone contacts are deleted. How can I get them back?
Recently 80% of my iphone contacts mysteriously disappeared. I have them backed up in my itunes, however here is the conundrum: I don't know if I have my iphone set to "auto sync/auto backup" or not. If it is, and I plug my phone in, I will automatically lose all the backed up contacts because it will sync with my phone's current state (no contacts). But: I don't know how to check to see what it's set to (manual or auto backup) without plugging my phone in, because the iphone side bar doesn't appear in itunes until I plug my phone in.

With android i can save all my contacts in.txt file on my sd card and if something were to ever happen to my contacts i can goto the.txt file and restore it in 5 secs
- My iPhone deleted all my notes. Can I get them back? I added a new email, after having a problem with the same one and I deleted it. After I added it back, all my notes were gone. I thought it was a glitch so I turned off my phone and then back on again and it was still gone. Can I get them back? I had a lot of important writing in those documents.

I started deleteing the contacts a few minutes ago and when i checked my phone, my moms contacts were gone too!
