My laptop says no network connection, but my iphone has connetion?

I have a windows 8.
My phone has Wi-Fi connection, but my laptop says there's no internet connection.

Few possible sollutions:

-Try rebooting your router/modem

-go to to the network center and click adapter settings. Make sure the connection is not disabled.

-some laptops have a small buttom on the side (or a shortcut on the keyboard, usually and FN-key) to completely disable all datatraffic. Make sure this is not the case.

Or you iphone is using data traffic provided by your ISP and not by your LAN-network which means there's a problem with the router/modem.

1- Click on the red crossed Wi-Fi signals in the taskbar and then click on "Open network and Sharing Center"

2- Now click on "Manage wireless networks".

3- Click on "Add" option and try to add the network manually.
