My modem won't let my wireless devices connect to the internet
Ok I have an ARRIS Modem from Time Warner Cable and yesterday my iPhone turned off and I turned it back on, I tried connecting to my Wi-Fi(with the correct password) and it wouldn't let me in. Then I tried my laptop just to see if it was my iPhone or the modem, and my laptop also couldn't connect! So I guessed it was the modem's fault. So then I went onto my computer that's hooked up with the ethernet cable and went on 192.168.0.1 to check it out. I have a security mode WPA2-PSK(whatever that means.) I set the security mode to OPEN and then tried going back to connecting to the internet with my laptop and my iPhone. Then it worked! I quickly set the modem back to WPA2-PSK and set my old Wi-Fi password again so other people can't join. Then Today, I went home and my iPhone couldn't connect to the internet AGAIN! I tried my laptop and it also didn't work! So then I went back to my IP address and did the same thing AGAIN. Is there a way to fix this where I won't have to keep doing this in order to reconnect?
You might want to check with your ISP, they would be able to help you with this kinda problem
Take off the password.
Cycle the power on the Arris and router.
Pull the power plug for 20 seconds and then plug back in. You should be doing that once a month.
Comcast changes their software and the modem needs to download the new stuff but won't if it is never powered off and on.

It will go to websites I go to a lot but nothing else. It works with my iPhone network, but not my home one. Anyone know what's going on?
