My Philips GoGEAR MP3 video player SA2VBE08K ViBE 8GB Won't charge correctly?
Ok I know it is 2016 now and there's things like iphones and other MP3 player but i really like my GoGEAR and was simple and easy. The thing is when I put to charge on my Ps4 computer or the wall. The screen of it puts a dead battery surrounded with white. I can't turn it off even if i push the reset button it just turns back on and puts the battery. I tried the drive and it won't recognize it. I can't ask for a repair because i can't turn it off, it just just in the battery screen can anyone help me. 
The battery needs to be replaced.

Should I get a 7 inch tablet or an mp3 player (not an Apple iPod because I'm getting an iPhone soon, so I figured I could double it up as a music player) I want a portable music player (mp3 player) but a tablet could also be a music player. A tablet would also be nice. What should I get? Why? What would YOU get?
