My power went out in one room?
So, I need some help. Just a few minutes ago, I was hovering my bed ( There was a lot of ants in my room so I had to clean it) and the power just shuts off. I had an extension cord plugged into the outlet and my alarm clock into the other slot in the outlet. Connected in the extension cord was a Hoover, my iPhone charger, my clothes steamer, and my laptop charger. I don't know what happened to the power though because while I was hovering my Hoover just cut out and I saw that everything else had as well. Please help! I really don't want to tell my parents because they are really stressed and this is the last thing they need.
Its as simple as flicking a switch.
you need to go to your fuse box and flick the odd switch.
Clothes steamer takes a lot of juice and the fact it is in an an extension cord makes it draw more. So unplug that. It is not a big deal. Tell parents(dad) as he knows where the fusebox is or breaker-box and he will see which one kicked off. He then turns that breaker all the way off and then back on. You are good to go. Time to do… The time it takes him to walk to the breaker box and flip a switch off and on.
If it is a fusebox then there are fuses in there and you blew one and that needs to be replaced with the same(but new) That could take longer, especially if you have to run to a hardware store to buy it first.
Check the breaqker panel for a tripped breaker
- Will my phone ever get found? I think someone stole it at school or it went missing I was in the locker room and I checked everywhere? I'm going to check the lost and found tomorrow. - Why can I only connect to Wi-Fi when I'm in one specific room? I have the iPhone 4 iOS 7.0.4. I've bought it used through somebody. But ever since I bought it I was only able to connect to Wi-Fi in one room in my house which is the room my Wi-Fi is set up in. If I go into any other room it will slowly get weaker signal and disconnect itself from the Wi-Fi. But everyone one else in my house is able to connect to the same Wi-Fi all throughout the house. I've tried resetting it but it didn't do anything.
- No wi-fi in one room of my house? So, I recently got my sister's old iPhone 4s, since she upgraded to the 5s. The wi-fi usually works fine, but it never works in my bedroom. My laptop, my sister's laptop, the iPad, iPod, and all the other iPhones have wi-fi in this room, but it's just my iPhone that doesn't get wi-fi. Does anyone know how I can get wi-fi in here? Everyone else gets wi-fi in this bedroom, just not me.
