My Sony Cybershot is messed up, something with the memory stick

I'm a blogger, so my camera is my holy grail! But seriously, for the past month I've been forced to use my iPhone's camera because my Sony Cybershot DSC-H20, is acting up! When I turn it on, something pops up saying," Reinsert memory stick!" But there was pictures on the camera still! I need help because I want my good pictures back! I tried today just deleting all the pictures on it, took some pictures (which before it wouldn't let me. ) and then tried uploading them! But right as I wanted to upload it said reinsert memory card! It's asham, because I don't have the money right now to go buy an expensive memory stick! And I need my good pictures! Any help? I paid almost $300 for this camera a few years back…

You need a multicard card reader that will support your sony memory card. With this you can download your card to your computer, back up and then format your memory card in your camera. Cards can become corrupt if you don't format them periodically.

If you can't access the pictures that way then you will still need a multicard card reader.

I have tried this with success. No guarantees, but it's free and worth a shot. YOU NEED A CARD READER.

Don't take anymore pictures.

Try this, Download the program http://www.recuva.com/...recuva.com?
You must not take anymore pictures on your card.
You will need a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader? Put the card in the card reader, open the recuva program, the welcome to the recuva wizard will open, click on next.next box, choose 'pictures', click on next, next box choose 'on my media card' click next. Check 'enable deep scan' click on start. Wait, for it to do it's magic. You might have to click on specific drives. Last time I tried to recover I had to try several different ways. Instead of choosing card, choose the drive if it shows up in the recuva software.

You need to use a card reader either one already in your computer (some have one, some don't). Or buy an external USB card reader. They are around 10.00 and can be found at walmart, bestbuy, frys, probably target.

I was not able to recover photos by hooking the camera up to the pc with the usb cord, it just won't work.

This is the important part. Choose the pics you want to recover, then choose recover, a box comes up asking where you want to save to. Choose documents/my pictures or wherever you want to save your pictures too. The pictures ONLY save to your pc and not the card.

  • Will acrylic paint stick to a shiny iphone case? It is some sort of shiny case (not plasticy but not metal either) I have no idea what it is but it's a bit shiny, so I sanded it. Will the coat of paint I'm putting on it stay? Even after sanding it was still shiny.
  • Which Camera to Buy: Sony WX350 or Sony WX220? I'm looking to purchase a camera for my upcoming vacation. I currently use my iPhone 6 to take all my photos and want something a little better. I have done some research and it seems like Sony makes pretty good cameras. The most important factors to me are image quality and price. I'm looking to spend $220 max. Please let me know which of the two you would recommend, unless you there's something else better.
  • Regarding sending something back with a warranty and returning something broken to a seller on amazon? I ordered a charger for my iPhone and it comes with a 18 month worry free warranty and my charger broke. So I was wondering can I return it to the seller in a envelope in my mailbox and same thing for the other thing that is broken. like or do I have to go to ups and ship it like that
  • Is there something wrong with my phone or is there something wrong with my mom's phone? Ok so when I attempt to call my mom, it doesn't ring it just goes straight to voicemail but doesn't show on my mom's phone that she had a missed called. My messages won't go through either, but her calls and messages come through to me. We both have iPhones and they are both on. I can text everyone else, call everyone else but her.
