My text messages won't show on my iphone 3gs
I want my message to show when someone text me, and it is not showing. When someone text me it says "Text message " or "I message". Can someone help me turn this off?!
Don't quite understand what your question is.
Are you trying to ask about the difference between text message and iMessage? You have to pay for text messages, most people have unlimited, or some pay per the text.iMessage on the other hand is a free messaging system (unless you're on data) where you can send messages to your friends for free using Wi-Fi.
I use iMessage all the time, and you can communicate with iPod touch and iPad, as long as they have iOS 5, has iMessage set up, and is connected to Wi-Fi.
If you want to turn off iMessage, you can do so by going into your setting > messages > turn off iMessage.
Hope this was helpful.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Read messages on my iPhone sometimes show up as unread messages on my Mac? - 1 I'm talking about email messages. I have my accounts hooked up to iCloud, so if I read an email on my iPhone or Mac, it should count it as read on the other device. It has worked, but sometimes it doesn't. What can/should I do?
- My iPhone 3gs won't show up on iTunes? I've plugged my iPhone into my iTunes & it's not recognising it. I've tried it for 4 hours & I've re-installed iTunes, reset my phone & still nothing!
- Is there anyway I can get my text messages to show on my lg g2 screen? I just bought the new lg g2 smartphone and whenever I get a text message I have to unsleep the phone just to see who the message is from. Is there anyway I can have the message show up on the screen if the phone is on sleep similar to what the iPhone does? Or at least show who the message is from. I hate having to unsleep the phone and enter my password every time
