Need a phone plan for iPhone?
I have had an iPhone 4 for the past 2 years through my girlfriends mom's family account and have been paying her only $35/month for unlimited everything on my iPhone. While it's nice and all, I don't want to be dependent on her for that.
I don't make too many calls, and most of my internet usage on the iPhone is done through Wi-Fi since I mostly go from home to work and back. I do send a lot of texts though. Can someone help me with a good, cheap plan that will work for this. I have looked it up and I get confused lol.
Have you ever considered a prepaid phone? Networks like Straight Talk and Virgin Mobile have plans for iPhone that are between $35 and $45 dollars a month.
The only thing is that your iPhone must be unlocked, or free to switch to another network, in order for one of their SIM cards to work with your phone.
Your best bet would be to scrap the iPhone and get a better phone. Anything that has a removable memory is better than Apple stuff. Try the Samsung Galaxy S III or the new Galaxy S 4 once we're sure it works as advertised.
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone with a home phone plan instead of a wireless plan? I don't have a wireless plan with AT&T but I have a home phone plan does that count towards unlocking requirements? And also can I use a mildly cracked screen as a replacement screen on my iPhone?
- Need to get a number from my phone without having my phone. Possible? I left my phone at a friends house but they are not home so I can't just go get it. Is there a way to use find my iphone to get their contact out of it so I can call them from another phone and tell them its t their house?
- If I Downgraded my Storage plan I previously bought on a phone with smaller GB, will it take away some of my storage on my new phone? I ran out of storage on my old iPhone SE so I was paying .99 cents a month for 50 GB, but now I have an iPhone 8 Plus which is 64 GB. ICloud was continuing to charge me .99 cents a month and I just now figured out how to discontinue it, but it said that if I did so I would only have 5 GB of storage. Should I be concerned?
- I need help finding an international phone plan? I currently have an iPhone 7 with Sprint and I'm under a 2 year contract. I want 4G LTE Unlimited Data. Sprint said I free unlimited 2G data internationally but I'm pretty sure that I'm better off using a brick as my phone than 2G. They said I could purchase additional speeds but they didn't specify which plans they offer and if they are unlimited. What are my options considering I under contract with Sprint?
